Biography

Dr. Arthur Hess is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic trauma, hip, knee, and shoulder reconstruction. He completed his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in 2009, followed by residency at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program, where he served as Chief Orthopedic Surgery Resident at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He further specialized through a fellowship in orthopedic traumatology at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland. Dr. Hess currently practices at the Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic and serves as Chief of Surgery at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.
