Biography

Dr. Jason Brandt has been providing exceptional orthopedic care to the citizens of Northeast Arkansas since 2000 after completing his training at the world-renowned Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN. His interest in orthopedic surgery was fueled by his experiences playing football for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. Dr. Brandt earned a scholarship and played on two conference championship teams. Upon graduating with many scholastic honors, including being selected to Phi Beta Kappa, he attended medical school at UAMS in Little Rock. While there, he was selected to the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Brandt is board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. While he sees and treats most all musculoskeletal conditions, Sports Medicine, including arthroscopic surgery, continues to be an area of expertise and interest of his. Dr. Brandt performed the first arthroscopic rotator cuff repair in Jonesboro in 2001. Since 2000, his joint replacement practice has grown tremendously based primarily on the referrals from his patients. The direct anterior approach hip replacement has become a growing and wildly successful part of his practice over the last decade. Traveling to five states to learn the technique has proven a benefit to his patients. Most recently, Dr. Brandt has brought customized knee replacements to Northeast Arkansas. He has quickly become the most experienced surgeon in Arkansas in this exciting advancement in knee surgery. Partial knee replacements are also a significant part of his joint replacement practice. This less invasive procedure leads to enhanced recovery and a more normal feeling knee. Dr. Brandt has been married to Jana for over 25 plus years, and they are currently 'empty nesters'. He currently serves on the NEA Baptist Clinic Board of Directors. His interest in the youth in the community has led him to coach football, baseball, soccer, basketball, and even volleyball. He has served as a life group leader and deacon in his church. Dr. Brandt has also had the opportunity to perform joint replacement surgery in Honduras with a medical missions team from Global Health Outreach. Dr. Brandt looks forward to meeting you and providing you and your family with exceptional and personal orthopedic care.
