Residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the National Rehabilitation Institute, UNAM; Subspecialty in Shoulder, Elbow and Sports Lesions, Technological Institute in Munich, Germany. He has participated in national and international courses in arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery in Europe and has made international presentations on shoulder pathology in Germany. He has published as author and co-author in national and international journals (Muscle, Ligament and Tendon Journal, German Medical Journal, Mexican Orthopedic Act). He has presented posters in many national forums. (AMECRA, CMOT). Certified by the Mexican College of Orthopedics and Traumatology Surgery; Full member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons; International member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. Every year he attends updating courses and workshops in Mexico and abroad. He makes continuous visits with referring orthopedic surgeons in the United States and Europe. He maintains investigation lines in the field of shoulder arthroscopic surgery in Germany and the United States.
