Biography

I grew up in Southern California and attended UC Irvine for my undergraduate and medical school training. I decided to become an orthopedic surgeon because I was fascinated with anatomy and enjoyed working with my hands. In medical school, I was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and earned numerous awards for scholastic and clinical achievement. After medical school, I pursued training in orthopedic surgery at LAC+USC Medical Center, where I was administrative chief resident. I then traveled to Philadelphia to complete a shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. I started my career at Kaiser Permanente where I spent 10 years performing complex shoulder and elbow surgery. To begin the next phase of my career I have joined Los Angeles Orthopedic Surgery Specialists and will be providing high level shoulder and elbow care for residents of the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Conejo Valley.
