Dr. Nicholas J. Zarkadis is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement. He has extensive experience in managing complex sports injuries and orthopedic trauma. His interests include muscle-sparing anterior total hip replacement, advanced robotic-assisted joint replacement, and rapid recovery protocols for hip and knee surgery. Dr. Zarkadis served in the U.S. Army as an orthopedic surgeon for the 5th Special Forces Group, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, and 101st Airborne Division, and was deployed to Afghanistan as part of a Forward Resuscitative Surgical Team.
