Dr. William "Trey" Shield is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in total hip and knee replacement, as well as general orthopaedic surgery. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2015, completed his residency at the University of Maryland and R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, and pursued a fellowship at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. Dr. Shield is committed to evidence-based patient care and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
