I am passionate about providing the highest quality of care possible with open, honest communication, so a patient can make the best informed decision.” Dr. Malynda Wynn is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. She focuses on orthopedic trauma surgery. She treats all fractures, including upper and lower extremity fractures, pelvis and acetabulum fractures, nonunions, malunions, bone infections (osteomyelitis), traumatized limbs and post-traumatic arthritis, including hip and shoulder replacements. Because every injury is different, Dr. Wynn enjoys making improvements in the quality of life for patients, and she appreciates the opportunities to work with diverse populations. Dr. Wynn received her bachelor’s degree and her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati. She completed residency at the University of Iowa and a fellowship in orthopedic trauma surgery at Indiana University Methodist Hospital. She loves spending her leisure time with her husband and daughter. Their favorite activities include riding bikes, swimming and kayaking.
