Biography

Peter Moley, MD earned his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University and medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School. He completed his residency at Kessler Institute of Rehabilitation where he was the Academic Chief Resident. Following residency, he trained for an additional year in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine at Hospital for Special Surgery. He specializes in the non-operative treatment of hips, low backs, and general joint injuries. His patient care starts with a thorough evaluation followed by an advanced physical therapy program, which he designs for his patients. He is board certified in both Sports Medicine and Physiatry. Some patients require injections in addition to physical therapy. To better direct his injections, he performs fluoroscopic-guided and ultrasound guided injections of the spine and joints. With the accuracy of guidance, he injects steroids, orthobiologics, and viscosupplementation in the treatment of joint, spine and tendon injuries. Dr. Moley has lectured nationally on hip and spine disorders. His research focusses on outcomes of various procedures, non-operative treatment of hip and spine disorders and better understanding of radiographic parameters for hip and spine disease.
