I am an Orthopaedic surgeon specialized in the management of complex trauma and joint replacements. I had an international background having grown up in South East Asia, originally from France, I did my medical school in Italy, residency in the UK and Orthopedic Trauma fellowship in the US. This unconventional path has provided me with with a set of tools that have become essential in today's leadership landscape: adaptability, flexibility, sensitivity to diversity, equity and inclusion as well as exposure to many different ways to do many different things, especially in the healthcare environment. I became a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery early on in my career and have the privilege to lead the Department of Orthopaedic at Denver Health Medical Center which is a safety net Level 1 Trauma Center. I have surrounded myself with a team of incredibly competent colleagues who push me everyday to be a better surgeon, leader and person . My clinical interests lie around fractures of the pelvis and the acetabulum, so as most of my research. While I have over 245 publications, a good number of book chapters and 6 textbooks, I want to focus on helping solve big problems in healthcare especially in the realm of digital healthcare and artificial intelligence.
