Dr. Joshua Harmer is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. Originally from South Jordan, Utah, he earned his bachelor's degree in Physics and medical degree from the University of Utah. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and pursued additional fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at Indiana University with Dr. Michael Meneghini. Dr. Harmer has extensive experience in primary, complex, and revision hip and knee replacements, and is skilled in the direct anterior approach for total hip replacements as well as robotic and computer-assisted surgery. He is passionate about global outreach, having participated in medical missions to Peru and Haiti, and is fluent in Spanish after living in Panama. Outside of work, he enjoys running, cycling, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Laura, and their six children.
