Dr. Michael Burton is a fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon specializing in complex musculoskeletal conditions in children. He completed his residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, where he received the Leo Weinstein, MD Award for Excellence in Patient Care, and his fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Burton earned his medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He also holds a Master of Science in global health and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and pre-professional studies from the University of Notre Dame. His clinical interests include treating fractures, scoliosis, hip disorders, clubfoot, and limb deformities. Dr. Burton has published research on pediatric fractures, limb deformities, and rare bone conditions in leading orthopedic journals and has participated in international medical outreach in Colombia and Ecuador. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care while applying the latest advances in pediatric orthopedics to help each child heal, grow, and reach their full potential.
