After serving as a U.S. Army Ranger medic for 10 years, including six deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, I obtained an undergraduate degree from Troy University, and then earned my Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where I was honored as a Pat Tillman Scholar throughout my four years. I then completed five years of Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, and will attend a Spine Surgery Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in 2025-2026.
