Biography

Jason Ahuero, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. He completed his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in 2004, followed by a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He further specialized with a fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham. Dr. Ahuero serves as Section Chief of Foot and Ankle Surgery for Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopedic Surgery with Houston Methodist Academic Institute and Weill Cornell Medical College and an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Medical Education with Texas A&M University College of Medicine. Dr. Ahuero prides himself in offering individualized surgical and conservative care to patients with congenital, degenerative and traumatic conditions affecting the foot and ankle.
