Dr. Joseph B. Chalal is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery. He graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Lafayette College, earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1982, and completed his orthopedic residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Chalal completed a sports medicine fellowship at North Sydney Sports Medicine Center. Since 1988, he has been practicing in the Palm Beach area, serving as an orthopedic consultant for the Miami City Ballet and previously for the Miami Heat during their preseason practices in Palm Beach County.
