Biography

Dr. Robert Buly specializes in joint-preserving surgeries for both hip and knee, including arthroscopies and osteotomies to correct anatomical problems like dysplasia and hip impingement. He has pioneered novel techniques to treat hip impingement by arthroscopy and collaborates with bio-engineers to design custom joint replacement implants. Dr. Buly is the Chief Emeritus of the Hip Preservation Service and a member of both the Adult Reconstruction Joint Replacement and Surgical Arthritis Services at HSS.
