Dr. Daniel C. Berman is an attending orthopedic spine surgeon at Montefiore Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He specializes in minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery, complex adult spinal deformity, and revision operations. Dr. Berman completed his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at Cornell University in 2014, his Doctor of Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2019, his orthopedic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center in 2024, and his orthopedic spine fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2025. His research focuses on improving outcomes through minimally invasive treatments for spinal pathology. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, AO Spine, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
