Dr. Eric Neufeld is currently the administrative chief orthopaedic surgery resident at Northwell Health’s North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, the #7- and #22-ranked hospitals for orthopaedic surgery in the nation respectively. Dr. Neufeld earned his MD from the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell graduating with distinction in research and election to Alpha Omega Alpha. He has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy, Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, Journal of Arthroplasty, Journal of Knee Surgery, and Journal of Hand Surgery. Dr. Neufeld will begin his orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at the world-renowned Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in summer 2026.
