Dr. Christian Cruz is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. A native of Philadelphia, he graduated Cum Laude from Ursinus College, where he was a vital member of the Men’s Soccer team. He earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2018. Dr. Cruz completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in 2023, receiving two Army Achievement Medals and an Army Commendation Medal during his training. He then pursued a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, serving as team physician for USC Athletics and the Los Angeles Kings. Dr. Cruz has a strong focus on peer-reviewed research and has received multiple awards, including the prestigious AOSSM O’Donoghue award. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).
