Dr. MaCalus V. Hogan is a nationally recognized orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle injuries, tendon healing, and healthcare delivery innovation. He serves as Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and Chief of the UPMC Orthopaedic Service Line. Dr. Hogan's research focuses on biologic and cell-based therapies for tendon and cartilage regeneration, and he has authored over 140 peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters, and abstracts.
