Biography

Dr. Richard S. Yoon is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic trauma and adult reconstruction. He serves as the Director of Orthopedic Research in the Division of Orthopedic Trauma and Adult Reconstruction at Jersey City Medical Center. Dr. Yoon earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity College in Connecticut and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he served as chief resident. He further specialized with a fellowship in orthopedic traumatology and complex adult reconstruction at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Florida. Dr. Yoon is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and holds memberships in the Orthopedic Trauma Association and the American Association of Hip & Knee Surgeons.
