Dr. Jason A. Browdy is an orthopedic surgeon who has been treating patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions in the St. Louis, Missouri region since 2004. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and has subspecialty board certification in sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Very few orthopedic surgeons in the St. Louis area share this distinction. Dr. Browdy was nominated as a Top Doctor in Sports Medicine by US News and World Report in 2011 and a Regional Top Doctor by Castle Connolly in 2014, 2020, and 2021. He received his medical degree from Rush Medical College at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois, in 1998. He completed his orthopedic residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Browdy began practicing orthopedic surgery in St. Louis in 2004, after completing his fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California. While training at the clinic founded by Dr. Frank Jobe, Dr. Browdy assisted in the care of several professional and Division I collegiate teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles Galaxy, Los Angeles Avengers, Anaheim Angels, and Anaheim Ducks. He also provided medical care for athletes at Loyola Marymount University and USC Athletics and served as a local consultant for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Dr. Browdy has served as a team orthopedic surgeon for the Saint Louis Cardinals and is an associate member of the Major League Baseball Team Physicians Association.
