Biography

Dr. Grant Garrigues is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Harvard University and completed a research degree at MIT. Dr. Garrigues completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center and a fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at The Rothman Institute. He has held significant positions, including Section Head for Shoulder Reconstruction at Duke University and Director of Upper Extremity Research at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. Dr. Garrigues has been involved in the design of multiple successful, FDA-approved shoulder replacement systems and holds multiple patents. He serves as a co-team physician for the Chicago White Sox (MLB) and the Chicago Bulls (NBA).
