Biography

Dr. Christopher J. Vinton is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The College of the Holy Cross in 1996 and earned his medical degree with honors from Dartmouth Medical School in 2000. Dr. Vinton completed his orthopedic residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center and a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Since joining Worcester County Orthopedics in 2007, he has been dedicated to providing advanced surgical care, including being the first in Central Massachusetts to perform minimally invasive anterior approach total hip replacements. In 2012, he was named Chief of Orthopedics at St. Vincent Hospital. Dr. Vinton is committed to helping patients of all ages return to their activities pain-free.
