Biography

Dr. Dale A. Whitaker, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement and the treatment of shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, hand, and elbow conditions. A lifelong resident of Jacksonville, he graduated cum laude from the University of Florida and attended the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine Shands Jacksonville Level One Trauma Center. Dr. Whitaker has been in private practice since 1989 and pioneered the anterior hip total joint replacement technique in his community.
