Ahmed Elhessy is a upper extremity orthopedic surgeon with a focus on shoulder surgery. After completion of his medical school in his Egypt, Ahmed completed his ACGMEI- accredited orthopedic surgery residency at HMC, Doha, Qatar (Weill Cornell School of Medicine). After practice for a couple of years, Ahmed moved to the States. He has completed his Hand and Microsurgery at CMKI/University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky. ouisville, Kentucky based male orthopedic surgeon who is specialized in Hand Surgery. He has also completed a research fellowship at Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Ahmed has more than 20 publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals. Currently, Ahmed is completing his pediatric orthopedics fellowship (with a focus on upper extremity and sports) at Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville, FL. Finally, Ahmed shall start his shoulder and elbow fellowship at Montefiore, Bronx, NY under mentorship of Dr. Frances Cuomo. Ahmed is seeking an academic career as a shoulder and elbow surgeon.
