Dr. Ansab Khwaja is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Washington, followed by an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where he earned the Department Chair Award and a resident research award. He then completed a fellowship in hip and knee replacement at Yale New Haven Hospital, gaining experience in the direct anterior hip approach, a minimally invasive technique for hip replacement. Dr. Khwaja has experience with robotics and computer navigation, and he has a special interest in outpatient joint replacement, allowing patients to recover in their own homes earlier. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, biking, skiing, and cheering for the Seahawks.
