Dr. Danny Gurba is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint reconstruction. Dr. Gurba received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and then completed an internship at the University of Kansas Medical Center as well as his residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City/Truman Medical Center Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Gurba completed additional surgical training as well through his fellowship in Joint Reconstruction at the Pennsylvania Hospital/Rothman Institute. Ninety-five percent of Dr. Gurba's practice focuses on the treatment of arthritic conditions of the hip and knee. The primary treatment for these conditions is joint replacement. Since beginning practice in 1985, Dr. Gurba has performed more than 9,000 total hip and knee replacements.
