Dr. Thomas F. Burke, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopy and sports medicine. He has a particular interest in injuries to the shoulder and knee, as well as sports-related injuries to other joints. Dr. Burke's expertise includes minimally invasive arthroscopic reconstructive procedures, shoulder replacement surgery, and general orthopedic fracture care. He is affiliated with Mount Auburn Hospital, New England Baptist Hospital, and Lawrence General Hospital. Dr. Burke completed his medical education at Hahnemann University College of Medicine in 1997, followed by an internship and residency at Temple University Hospital, and a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Pennsylvania/Pennsylvania Hospital. He began his practice in 2003 and is currently associated with Pro Sports Orthopedics in Cambridge, MA.
