Dr. William P. Barrett is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in primary and revision hip and knee replacements. He has performed over 15,000 joint replacement procedures and has been actively involved in clinical research on anterior approach total hip replacement and total knee replacement. Dr. Barrett has contributed to the design of widely used hip and knee replacement systems and has served as the medical director for the Joint Center at Valley Medical Center in Renton, WA. He has been recognized as a top doctor for joint replacement by Seattle Magazine and Seattle Metropolitan Magazine. As of January 1, 2024, Dr. Barrett retired from surgical practice but continues to contribute to the field through consulting and education.
