Dr. Emmanuel N. Menga is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive spinal surgery and complex spinal surgery/scoliosis. He has extensive experience managing degenerative disc disease, disc herniation, and stenosis of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Dr. Menga completed his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2009, followed by residency training in orthopedic surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he received the Frank L. Coulson, Jr. Award for Clinical Excellence. He then completed fellowship training in orthopedic spinal and deformity surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases. Dr. Menga has held academic positions, including Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Vice Chair of Education at the University of Miami Health System. He is actively involved in research focusing on clinical and functional outcomes of pediatric and adult spine surgery, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
