Dr. Eric Giza is the Chief of the Division of Foot & Ankle and Director of the Orthopaedic Surgery Foot & Ankle Fellowship at UC Davis Health. He specializes in reconstruction and minimally invasive arthroscopy of the foot and ankle complex, with additional expertise in knee and shoulder surgery. A former collegiate soccer player, Dr. Giza has served as an assistant team physician for the United States Soccer Federation and is currently an official team physician for the Sacramento Republic FC professional men's soccer team. His research interests include cartilage transplantation, arthroscopic approaches to lateral ligament stabilization, and Achilles tendon repair.
