Dr. Scott Fujii is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He graduated from the University of California at Davis and earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2006. Dr. Fujii completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Drexel University MCP Hahnemann program in Philadelphia, PA. In 2012, he returned to the California Bay Area to complete a fellowship in sports medicine through the Sports Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Fellowship Program, where he trained under the team physician for the San Francisco Giants and the former team physician for the San Francisco 49ers. He has been practicing orthopedic surgery in the Sacramento area since 2012. Dr. Fujii specializes in treating conditions such as rotator cuff tears, ACL injuries, meniscus tears, and other sports-related injuries. He has a particular interest in joint preservation and is certified in autologous chondrocyte implantation (ACI and MACI) for patients with cartilage injuries. Additionally, he is experienced in joint replacements, including total knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, and utilizes computer and robotic-assisted technologies. Dr. Fujii also regularly manages fracture care. His practice philosophy emphasizes compassionate care, engaging patients in the decision-making process for their treatment plans. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Fujii is married with two children and enjoys golf and fishing.
