Dr. Kurt Johnson, a native Texan, graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University and completed his M.D. and orthopedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine. He trained in complex musculoskeletal diseases and fracture fixation at a Level 1 Trauma Center. He then specialized in lower extremity arthritis treatment, completing the Otto E. Aufranc Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. Dr. Johnson is skilled in various procedures, including muscle-sparing anterior hip replacement, minimally invasive posterior hip replacement, robot-assisted joint replacement, arthroscopic knee surgery, partial knee replacement, and revision joint replacement. He advocates for outpatient joint replacement when appropriate.
