Dr. John R. Balk, DO, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgeries, as well as shoulder, elbow, and spine surgeries. He is affiliated with Mercy Health-Lorain Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Lorain, OH. Dr. Balk completed his medical degree at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013, followed by a residency at UH Regional Hospitals and fellowships at Texas Back Institute and St. Vincent Charity Medical Center.
