Jon Sheu is a fifth-year orthopaedic resident at the Michigan State/McLaren Flint program in Flint, Michigan. Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Sheu attended the University of California, Davis for his undergraduate studies. After graduation, he worked as an emergency medical technician, microbiologist, and stem cell researcher for the next five years, ultimately returning to continue his medical education at the University of Miami, where he won awards for both leadership and teaching. He completed a general surgery internship at the University of Hawai'i in Honolulu before starting his orthopaedic training in Michigan. He currently lives in Michigan with his wife and young son, and will be headed to Stanford University in 2024 for a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery.
