Biography

Dr. Chima D. Nwankwo is a fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopedic trauma surgeon practicing in Brooklyn, New York. He serves as the Division Head of Orthopedic Trauma Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University. Dr. Nwankwo specializes in managing complex fractures, joint dislocations, and injuries of the pelvis, as well as hip and knee arthritis. He is a member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association, AO Trauma, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
