Dr. Katherine E. Mallett is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Senior Associate Consultant in the Division of Hip and Knee Reconstruction at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She specializes in complex primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, with a clinical focus on restoring mobility and improving quality of life for patients with advanced arthritis and challenging reconstructive needs. Dr. Mallett has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has received national recognition for her work, including the Frank E. Stinchfield, M.D. Award from The Hip Society and the Philip D. Wilson, M.D. Award for Excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery Research from the Hospital for Special Surgery. She is also deeply engaged in medical education and leadership, having served as Chair of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Resident Assembly and as the host of the Mayo Clinic Orthopedic Surgery Podcast.
