Biography

Patrick A. Meere, M.D.,C.M. is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, NYU School of Medicine, the Director of Advanced Arthroplasty Research Laboratory, and the Co-Director of the Robotics Center in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the NYU Langone Medical Center. His research interests include smart implant technology, robotic/haptic/computer-assisted surgery, sensor-assisted instrumentation, and minimally invasive surgery of the knee and the hip. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS). He is on the executive board of the International Society for Computer Assisted Orthopedic Surgery (CAOS) and a member of the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA). He has authored numerous publications, book chapters, and video presentations.
