Biography

Dr. Jason Blevins is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee musculoskeletal care, including primary hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, complex revision hip and knee replacement, and hip resurfacing. He performs both anterior and posterior hip replacement and utilizes computer navigation techniques to achieve individualized patient treatment goals. Dr. Blevins earned his undergraduate degree at Franklin and Marshall College, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in chemistry and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine, graduating summa cum laude and receiving the Faculty Gold Medal. He completed his orthopedic surgical residency at Hospital for Special Surgery/Weill Cornell Medical College/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and an Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery, where he served as Chief Fellow and was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award. Dr. Blevins has authored peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, with research presented at national and international orthopedic surgery meetings. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons.
