Biography

Dr. Gregory Nelson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow procedures, as well as joint replacement surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from MIT, his MD and Master of Health Science from Yale University School of Medicine, completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Consortium in St. Louis, and pursued a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at The Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia. Dr. Nelson is affiliated with SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Fenton, St. Luke's Des Peres Hospital, and Des Peres Square Surgery Center.
