Dr. Verena M. Schreiber is an Associate professor with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She earned her medical degree at the Medical University of Innsbruck in Austria. Dr. Schreiber completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania. She then pursued a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio. Her clinical interests include neuromuscular disorders and orthopedic trauma. Dr. Schreiber is board certified in orthopedic surgery in the US and Germany. She is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, Orthopaedic Research Society, American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, AO and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Schreiber also serves on multiple committees for POSNA, AAOS and AACPDM. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, she has written textbook chapters and presented at both national and global medical conferences. Dr. Schreiber is bilingual in English and German.
