Dr. Joey LaMartina II is a dual-fellowship trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, elbow, and sports medicine. He earned his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans School of Medicine and completed his residency at Boston University Orthopedic Surgery Residency. Dr. LaMartina completed a sports medicine fellowship at the University of California at San Francisco and a shoulder and elbow fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute. His special interests include the management and treatment of adolescent and adult sports injuries of the knee, hip, elbow, and shoulder, as well as shoulder replacement surgeries. He was born and raised in the area and is a graduate of St. Paul's School in Covington. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Notre Dame.
