Biography

Dr. Matthew Fury is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports-related injuries to the shoulder, elbow, and knee, as well as complex shoulder conditions. He has a special interest in the comprehensive treatment of overhead and throwing athletes. Dr. Fury serves as a staff surgeon at the Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic with privileges at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, St. Elizabeth Hospital, and Baton Rouge General Hospital. He is also a team physician for Louisiana State University, Prairieville High School, Lutcher High School, and Donaldsonville High School, and serves as an orthopaedic surgery consultant for Lamar University baseball.
