Dr. Michael Gruber is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and joint replacement. He graduated with honors from the Medical College of Georgia in 1989 and completed his residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Gruber holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in orthopedic sports medicine and has served as Chief of Surgery at Newnan Hospital. He is affiliated with Piedmont Newnan Hospital and Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Dr. Gruber is actively involved in community service, including serving as a volunteer team doctor for local high schools and as a preceptor for the Mercer University Physician Assistant program.
