Dr. Selene Parekh is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon known for utilizing state-of-the-art implants and techniques designed and developed to provide better treatments and offer limb salvage. He focuses on minimally invasive surgery and is a pioneer in the use of 3D printing techniques, total ankle replacements, and the treatment of foot and ankle conditions in athletes. Dr. Parekh earned his Bachelor's Degree in Medical Clinical Sciences and Classical Civilization, followed by an MBA in Health Care Management and a Doctor of Medicine from Boston University. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery and a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Additionally, he pursued a Fellowship in Health Care Entrepreneurship at the Wharton School of Business and obtained a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. Dr. Parekh has served as a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Duke University and is currently a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and a Visiting Research Collaborator at Princeton University. He is also the Chief Medical Officer at Lasso, an innovative movement brand.
