Dr. John T. Braun is an accomplished orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in the treatment of scoliosis and complex spine deformities in both children and adults. He pioneered the anterior vertebral tethering technique as an alternative to fusion surgery for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, performing the first successful procedure in 2010. Dr. Braun has held academic positions at the University of Utah, University of Vermont, Dartmouth, and currently serves at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
