A 17-year-old quarterback reports shoulder pain localized over the anterior aspect of the shoulder that occurs during the follow through phase of throwing. The pain worsens toward the end of the game, but becomes asymptomatic the next day. He denies any pain during the cocking phase of throwing or during normal daily activities. Examination reveals a negative relocation test and a negative posterior load and shift test. Motion of the shoulder is normal. An MRI arthrogram is shown in Figure 75.
