A 65-year-old female presents to your office with complaints of dull/achy pain in the arch of her foot. The pain is worse with weight-bearing and is slowly becoming more consistent. She has tried oral and topical NSAIDs. Radiographs demonstrate joint space narrowing at the 2nd and 3rd tarsometatarsal joints. She asks why her pain is worse with activity.
