A 72-year-old male presents with complaints of right shoulder pain which has been present for the last 10 years. He complains of a loss of motion and crepitus with motion. Radiographs demonstrate significant glenohumeral osteoarthritis with humeral osteophytes and 9º of glenoid retroversion. He has attempted conservative care with physical therapy, NSAIDS, and steroid injections, most recently 4 months ago. You recommend stemmed anatomic total shoulder arthroplasty for the patient.
