A 72-year-old female presents to clinic for follow up of her right flatfoot deformity. She states her foot deformity has actually worsened and become "more stiff". She describes most of her new pain in the lateral hindfoot while standing or walking. On exam, she has significant pes planovalgus with forefoot abduction. Hindfoot and forefoot alignment are unable to be passively corrected to neutral. She is unable to perform a single-leg heel rise. She has full, painless ankle ROM without coronal plane instability.
